Another show for another pretty empty bar.
I wrote a new song and played it in front of a phone with a camera. This was my second time running through it all the way.
I’ve been using Periscope to broadcast live performances at random times. This was the one from this afternoon.
You should join the fun next time.
‘You Said’ from Claye.
In which I break my guitar.
Mouse Trappe. Not my favourite performance, but I love the way the light looks, so I decided to put it up anyway.
I’ll be doing a show tomorrow night at 9PM at Goodbye Blue Monday in Brooklyn tomorrow. It’ll be mostly stripped acoustic versions of songs from CLAYE and Readers & Reporters. There will be CLAYE cards.
I expect the crowd to be fucking wild, of course, because this is a Monday night show. Ah, the pleasures of being a mostly-unknown independent musician. Nothing like playing to the bar tender, right?
UPDATE: Show cancelled due to nonsense.
CLAYE is coming tomorrow at 12PM EDT. Watch the horrifying trailer. It’s very convincing, I think.
I’m doing the lighting setup for the CLAYE live shows. I feel like I’m blinding myself.
I wrote a song. Then I played it for you. Then my guitar fell apart. This may be the worst performance ever.
